Not every Filipino lotto game is about chasing a ₱50-million jackpot. Swertres (3D) and EZ2 (2D) are small, fast, daily games with much better odds and smaller fixed prizes. They're also the most searched games on PinoyLottoResults. Here's how they work.

What are Swertres and EZ2?

Both are PCSO "digit" games drawn three times a day, at 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Unlike the 6-ball games, there is no rolling jackpot. Prizes are fixed amounts based on your bet. See our full draw schedule for every game.

How to play Swertres 3D

You choose three digits from 0 to 9, for example 5-0-8. There are two main ways to bet:

  • Straight: your digits must match the draw in exact order. 5-0-8 wins only if the result is 5-0-8.
  • Rambolito: your digits can match in any order. 5-0-8 also wins with 8-5-0 or 0-8-5. The prize is smaller because you cover more combinations: 6 orders for three different digits, or 3 if one digit repeats.

Prize amounts are fixed per peso bet and are posted at authorized outlets. A commonly cited figure is ₱4,500 for a ₱10 straight bet, but always check the current PCSO prize table.

How to play EZ2 2D

EZ2 uses two numbers from 1 to 31, for example 14-29. Straight bets need the exact order; rambolito bets win in either order. A commonly cited prize is ₱4,000 for a ₱10 straight bet. Check with your outlet for the current amount.

Odds and expected value

These games have the best odds the PCSO offers, but the house still keeps an edge. A little probability shows how:

Game (straight)Odds (1 in)Avg. return per ₱10*
Swertres 3D1,000≈ ₱4.50
EZ2 2D961≈ ₱4.16

*Based on the commonly cited prizes above. Over the long run, roughly half of every peso spent is not returned. That's how the PCSO funds its charity programs.

Compare these with the jackpot games in our lotto odds guide, or see all games in one place on the lotto games page. You can also read more about the PCSO's charity mandate on Wikipedia.

Checking daily results

Because there are three draws a day, it's easy to mix up times. When you search our Swertres results or EZ2 results, look at the Time column so you check the right draw. New to result checking? Start with how to check Pinoy lotto results.

Because these games are drawn so often, it's easy to overspend. Set a daily cap and stick to it. Our responsible gaming page shares practical tools.
